Harrison Rhys - Lead Vocals/Guitar
Harrison Rhys is a singer/songwriter from Portsmouth who has been performing around Hampshire and surrounding areas for the last 5 years, including several performances at both Victorious and Wickham Festivals, a South Coast tour on 2021, supporting The Lottery Winners on their UK tour as well as headlining two of his own shows at iconic South Coast venues.
His original music has featured on BBC Music Introducing and BBC Radio Leicester as well as many local and regional radio stations.
Adam Emberson - Keyboards
Harrison’s Uncle Adam is a classically trained musician starting off with clarinet and piano at a young age. He taught himself bass and rhythm guitar whilst studying musical production at an HND level.
Adam has played in various bands around the Portsmouth area including Half-Light and currently with Great Escape along with Andy and Glen.
Andy Emberson - Drums
Andy (Harrison’s grandad) has played in various bands since the 70s, he has travelled around the UK and also Germany and Gibraltar. He has played alongside artists such as The Barron Knights, The Tremaloes, KC & the Sunshine Band as well as The Pirates (featuring Johnny Kidd & The Pirate’s original bass player, Johnny Gordon).
Andy has worked with Glen in various bands over the last 37 years and also with Adam in both Half-Light and Great Escape.
Glen Knipe - Lead Guitar
Glen is an experienced gigging musician and has travelled throughout the UK and Europe playing rock, blues and pop. He has supported major artists including The Small Face’s Steve Marriott.
Glen has been in various bands with Andy since the 80s and more recently has joined Great Escape with both Andy and Adam.
Cameron Soper - Bass Guitar
Cameron is a multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, producer and the bassist of Harrison’s band. Harrison and Cam met when Harrison started working with ChartHouse Studios where Cam works as a producer, and what ensued was a friendship as well as several local number 1 hits such as Good For Us, What If I and The Real Me.
Cam also performs with his other bands Tea With Florence and Camal Jam.
